Usage Information

Beclomethasone is available in the form of aerosol for oral inhalation or aerosol for nasal inhalation. It is important to take beclomethasone at evenly spaced intervals between the time you wake up in the morning and the time you go to bed at night. You can get its full effects only after usage of beclomethasone regularly for several weeks. Beclate Rotacaps are for inhalation use only through the Cipla Rota­haler. For optimum results, use Beclate Rotacaps regularly.

Dosage

Beclomethasone usually is used two to four times a day. For adults - the contents of two 200 mcg Rotacaps twice daily is the usual dose and for children - one 100 mcg Rotacap twice, thrice or four times daily.

Interactions

This drug should not be used with live virus vaccines, natalizumab because very serious interactions may occur. It is advisable to consult your doctor before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

Side Effects

Dry or irritated throat or mouth, tongue irritation, abnormal sense of taste is commonly seen with oral inhalation. Nasal burning, irritation or bleeding is common with nasal inhalation. If these problems persist, contact your doctor.
